Putin became a laughing stock: the Dagger and Zircon missiles are not hypersonic

Many ballistic missiles have hypersonic speeds at some point in their trajectories

The whole world is laughing at Russian President Vladimir Putin because the “Dagger“ and “Zircon“ they did not become the miracle weapons he claims, and people who understand at least a little physics know this very well.

This is what the aviation expert and former test engineer at the design bureau “Antonov” said. Konstantin Krivolap in front of FREEDOM TV. Putin called “invincible" the missiles in question, but there are already reports in Ukraine that they were shot down by Western systems.

„These are not hypersonic weapons. Many ballistic missiles that fly high and far have hypersonic speeds at some point in their trajectories. But this does not mean that they have become hypersonic missiles. That is, both “Dagger“ and “Zircon“ in general, they are just like, let's say, quasi-ballistic high-velocity missiles. But these are not hypersonic missiles, this is a completely different branch of science," Krivolap said.

The developers of the Russian missiles in question know this very well. In one way or another, all people who have at least a little understanding of this matter laugh at Putin for his “miracle weapons”, which are supposedly invulnerable to enemy systems.

„And many people understand this because in a country where many have a university degree, they were taught at least a little physics in school, especially since there is an older generation there who may still understand this physics” , Krivolap declared.

Unfortunately, these missiles continue to be a big problem for Ukraine, he pointed out, because they have great destructive power.

„These are missiles for mass destruction. And it is very difficult to predict where they will fall. But we simply do not have all the means to combat the ballistic threat. This is our weak point. And in general, the Russians are trying to terrorize us through these weak points”, said Konstantin Krivolap.

Ukraine has repeatedly called on NATO to give it more air defense systems to protect its cities from the terror of the Russian occupation army. The full-scale war launched by Vladimir Putin in February 2022 is now in its third year.
