The Israeli intelligence service "Mossad" stated that the Palestinian movement "Hamas" has rejected the latest proposal for a truce presented a week ago in Cairo by mediators, AFP and Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

The rejection of the proposal presented by the US, Egypt and Qatar shows that the leader of "Hamas" in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar "does not want a humanitarian agreement or the return of the hostages," said a Mossad statement released by the Israeli prime minister's office.

Sinowar "continues to benefit from tensions with Iran" with the aim of "escalating the conflict in the region", added the communique, published a few hours after the massive and unprecedented attack by Tehran, which fired more than 300 drones and missiles at Israel without causing significant damage. Israel "will continue to work with all its might to achieve the goals of the war against "Hamas" and will turn over every stone to return the hostages from Gaza", according to the same source.
