British Air Force deployed in Romania from the end of March for air police missions, were sent on Friday to the Middle East and assisted on Saturday night in the defense of Israel, reports the Romanian television Digi 24 and BTA.
Six Eurofighter Typhoon fighters of the British Royal Air Force arrived on March 25 at the Romanian airbase “Mihail Coglunicanu” near Constanta. Their task is to carry out enhanced air policing missions under the command of NATO for four months, the television recalls.
