By defending Israel, the free world has shown that unity is not only possible, but also 100 percent effective, Zelensky said. The same can be done to protect Ukraine from terror, which, like Israel, is not a member of NATO. " And this does not require the triggering of Article 5, but only political will," Zelensky pointed out.
According to Article 5 of the NATO Charter, an attack against one member state "shall be considered an attack against all members of the alliance".
