This morning, a Tu-22M3 strategic bomber crashed in the southern part of the Stavropol Territory, the Interfax news agency reported, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense , reported Reuters and BTA.
The ministry said the four pilots of the bomber ejected and three of them were rescued. The search for the fourth crew member continues. According to the defense department, the crash appears to have been caused by a technical malfunction.
There was no ammunition on board the plane, the crash did not cause any damage to the ground, TASS reported.
