German CDU/CSU parliamentary faction called British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to put pressure on Chancellor Olaf Scholz during a meeting on the issue of providing Taurus missiles to Ukraine, reports N-TV and Focus.
"The American package is now directly calling on US President Joe Biden to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles (ATACMS)“, CDU defense expert Roderich Kiesewetter said.
According to him, as a result of the US decision, Sunak should also put pressure on Scholz so that the latter finally allows the delivery of the Taurus to Ukraine.
