An earthquake with a magnitude of 6 was registered in the water area of Lake Baikal today, TASS reported, quoted by BTA, as referred to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Irkutsk Region.
The tremor occurred at 07:07 (02:07 Bulgarian time).
There are no reports of injured people or material damage.
