Varna is among the destinations in Europe that French President Emmanuel Macron recommends to be visited in a video post on "Instagram", BTA reported.
In the video, Macron answers a question from young people about which destination he would recommend visiting in Europe. He begins listing cities and countries, starting with Varna. Emmanuel Macron visited there together with the first lady of France, Brigitte Macron, in 2017 at the invitation of President Rumen Radev and the then Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Boyko Borissov. Macron then arrived directly at the airport in Varna and then headed to the Euxinograd Palace.
Then in the post on "Instagram" Macron mentions Split, then the ruins of bygone eras in Rome, then Andalusia in Spain and its wonders. Then, with a dreamy look, Macron also talks about how nice it is to get lost in the hills and shadows of Lisbon, Pessoa's city. Then he mentions Salzburg, the Baltic States, and Denmark.
Finally, Macron says he can list places ad infinitum. He adds that there are so many places in Europe that have so much history and calls Europe a "treasure" that we must not stop loving.
