The Russian President Vladimir Putin said today that in 2024 Russia's total spending on defense and security could reach just over 8.7% of GDP and that these funds should be used carefully and efficiently, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Putin said in a meeting with the defense minister and high-ranking generals that Russian forces are improving their positions in all directions in Ukraine every day.
