Moscow: Kiev tries to hide its losses under the waters of the Dnieper

Ukraine decides to release water from the dam to the Dnieper hydroelectric plant

Kiev regime decides to release water from the dam to the Dnieper hydroelectric plant to delay the advance of Russian troops.

This opinion was expressed to TASS by Alexander Malkevich, co-chairman of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.

„It is obvious to us that one of the reasons is the success of our troops immediately on the very left bank of the Dnieper. Not only in Krinki, but in general the restoration of order is entirely on our left bank. And most importantly, I know that our sabotage groups repeatedly destroyed Ukrainian fighters during their operations. I have a lot of information, I keep in touch with the fighters, they are absolute heroes. And the losses on the part of the Ukrainian armed forces are so many that it is already difficult to hide them. So it was decided to flood. They are trying to stop the imminent liberation of the Russian city of Kherson”, said Malkevich.

The interlocutor of the agency added that the regime in Kiev is also trying to cover up large losses in strongholds destroyed by Russian troops.

The opening of the floodgates to the Dnieper hydroelectric station was announced earlier by the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo. According to him, this does not pose a great threat to settlements. The islands in the Dnieper delta are in the most likely flood zone. As reported to TASS by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kherson region, the rescuers are keeping the situation under control.

Later, the chairman of the committee on issues of sovereignty, patriotic projects and support of veterans of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Rogov, clarified that the prisons of the Dnieper hydroelectric plant are open, the locks remain closed.
