Russian air defense today shot down eight ATAKMS missiles over the Sea of Azov and eight unmanned aerial vehicles over the Black Sea near Crimea, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced, as quoted by Reuters and TASS.
Earlier, a representative of the Russian authorities assigned to Crimea said that debris from rockets had damaged two ferries near the city of Kerch and that ferry services were temporarily suspended.
Separately, Russian authorities said vehicular traffic was temporarily disrupted on the key Crimean bridge that connects the peninsula to Russia.
