Russian Tu-95MS and Tu-22MZ strategic bombers flew over neutral waters of the Baltic, Barents and Norwegian seas, the Russian Ministry of Defense said, quoted by TASS, BTA writes.
"Planes of the strategic aviation carried out scheduled flights in the airspace over neutral waters of the Baltic, Barents and Norwegian seas. The longest flight was over 6 hours," the statement said.
"At certain stages of the flights, the strategic bombers were escorted by fighter jets of foreign countries," the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
