Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had arrived in Germany for a conference dedicated to the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine , and for talks with Chancellor Olaf Scholz, BTA reported.

In the messaging application "Telegram" Zelensky announced that measures related to Ukraine's energy sector, destroyed by Russian airstrikes, will be a priority at the conference, which is convened annually

Zelensky's talks with Scholz will focus on continued military support, including air defense funds, and joint production of munitions, as well as on agreeing positions ahead of the "peace summit" hosted by Switzerland later in the week.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military announced the appointment of the commander of the unmanned systems forces, Reuters reported, citing BTA.

A statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces said that Vadim Sukharevski, Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces, was appointed to the post by order of Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

In February, Suharevski was appointed deputy commander in charge of unmanned aircraft. That same month, Zelensky issued a decree to create a separate division of the armed forces responsible for drones, and last week the decree was approved by the government.

In December last year, Zelensky said that in 2024, Ukraine would produce one million of its own unmanned aerial vehicles. In recent days, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Sirsky met with the most successful unmanned units in the country.
