Several oil depots caught fire after drone attack early this morning in the city of Azov, which is located in Russia's Rostov region, Russian authorities said, quoted by Reuters, BTA writes.

"According to preliminary data, there were no casualties," wrote the governor of the Rostov region, which borders Ukraine, Vasiliy Golubev in the communication application "Telegram".

The Russian Emergencies Ministry said in Telegram that dozens of firefighters are battling the blaze.

Reuters notes that it cannot independently confirm the information and that Ukraine has not commented on the matter at this time. Kiev often says that striking Russia's energy, military and transport infrastructure negatively affects Moscow's military capabilities.

The city of Azov is located on the Don River, about 16 km from the Sea of Azov.
