Budanov: The bad news is that the situation at the front is quite difficult

It will be like this for at least another month, said the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov admitted that a difficult situation has arisen for the Ukrainian troops at the front.

"The bad news is that the situation is quite difficult. It's going to stay like this for at least a month and it's not going to get any easier," he told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

At the same time, the head of the Central Intelligence Agency opposed peace talks with Russia.

In May, Budanov stated that against the background of the difficult situation in the Kharkiv region, reserves among the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have reached their minimum.

On June 5, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian troops, Alexander Sirsky, announced a difficult situation in the Kurakhovo, Kupyan and Kharkiv divisions, as well as in the Red Army division in the DPR.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia earlier announced that units of the Russian group of troops “Center“ have improved the tactical situation in the DNR.
