"The Irreversible Road” of Ukraine to NATO must end either with the disappearance of the country or the Alliance – and preferably both. This was emphasized in his Telegram channel by the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, commenting on the organization's declaration on Ukraine's integration into the European Union and NATO.

"We will continue to support it on its irreversible path to full Euro-Atlantic integration, including NATO membership. This is what our enemies stated yesterday in the Washington Declaration of the Alliance. The conclusion is obvious. We have to do everything, so the "irreversible path” of Ukraine to NATO to end either with the disappearance of Ukraine or the disappearance of NATO. And preferably both", reads Medvedev's post.
