The Yemeni Houthis took responsibility for the attack on Tel Aviv, the Washington Post informed, quoted by News.bg.
One person died and eight were injured in the drone attack.
The target of the attack was a building in the central part of the city, located in close proximity to the American embassy. This raises the tension and increases the likelihood of the conflict expanding.
The Israel Defense Forces explained that the explosion was caused by a falling “air target”, a term commonly used for drones.
The Houthis said the strike was aimed at “an important target in occupied Jaffa, now known as Tel Aviv”. They emphasized that Tel Aviv will no longer be safe and will be the main target of their attacks.
