Six people from one family were injured by lightning in a park in the northern German city of Delmenhorst, west of Bremen. Two of the injured are in critical condition.
This is what a police spokesman said yesterday, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
The family – an adult and five children and teenagers, was sitting under a tree in the city park “Graftwiesen” when it was struck by lightning yesterday afternoon.
During the rescue operation, a child and a teenager were resuscitated. All six members of the family were taken to hospital.
