Robert Fico: Oil companies are considering a solution for the transit of Russian oil through Ukraine

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said today that trading companies are considering a technical solution that they will offer Ukraine to resume the transit of oil from the Russian company “Lukoil“ through its territory, after new sanctions stopped part of the supplies,“ Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

Slovakia and Hungary have been putting pressure on Ukraine since it included “Lukoil“ in its sanctions lists, stopping part of the transit to refineries in the two Central European countries.

In a post published on the social network “Facebook“ video Fico said that the Slovak company “Slovnaft“ may stop supplying diesel to Ukraine if transit through it is not restored.
