We cannot stop the Russians with only patriotic songs and hopes. They are advancing very quickly at the front.
This was stated by Maxim Zhorin, who is the deputy commander of the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the ZSU, UNIAN agency reported.
„We must wake up and start a fight. Everything is very simple: the sooner we destroy the Russians, the sooner the war will end,” said the Ukrainian officer.
„The truth is that the Russians are really advancing fast, it is not difficult to notice even on the maps that are available on the web. And if they are not stopped, the war can really come very quickly, including in the homes of those who are not fighting”, warned Maxim Zhorin.
He pointed out that all the predictions made by analysts and experts are pure and simple guesswork. Maxim Zhorin often criticizes Ukrainians who think that this war is not theirs. Zhorin said recently that Ukrainian society is currently polarized – while some are fighting at the front, others think that what is happening is none of their business. And the situation at the front is becoming more and more complicated, said the military commander. According to him, those who are now leaving the army will feel the consequences of the arrival of the Russians on an equal basis with everyone else.
