Russian troops have received a new priority target in the special operation zone in Ukraine , as in Russia they call their military aggression. The military expert, retired lieutenant colonel of the People's Militia of the self-proclaimed LPR Andrey Marochko, said that it is a question of high-resolution video surveillance systems supplied by the West, which allow monitoring of the territory within a radius of 1.5 kilometers, mk.ru reported.

Andrey Marochko noted on his Telegram channel that Ukrainian fighters regularly install high-definition video surveillance cameras provided by the West on the line of combat contact. These cameras allow safe monitoring of large areas of the terrain, which is why video surveillance posts of the Ukrainian armed forces and their equipment have become a priority target for Russian military personnel.

The expert pointed out that currently the most effective and justified method of destroying video cameras is attacking drones. They are significantly cheaper than expensive equipment and hit targets with almost 100% guarantee. Marochko added that such a camera was destroyed west of Lisychansk, which deprived the Ukrainian fighters of the ability to control an area with a radius of more than 1.5 kilometers.

Reserve colonel Viktor Litovkin told an aif.ru correspondent that the West has turned Ukraine into a testing ground for various types of weapons and tactical actions. CCTV cameras, he said, are needed to get intelligence quickly. The enemy conceals its military equipment and intentions, but high-resolution optics allow identification of enemy objects, both on the ground using video cameras and in the air from unmanned aerial vehicles, identifying targets for strikes.
