An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale was registered in Eastern Turkey at 05:52 local time (coincides with Bulgarian time), according to a reference on the official website of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center ( EMSC), cited by Focus.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 118 kilometers northwest of Şanlıurfa and 22 kilometers south of Malatya, at a depth of five kilometers.
There are no reports of injuries or damage.
