Escalating tensions: Rocket fire between Israel and Hezbollah

Hezbollah explained that its strike was in retaliation for Israel's attack on the city of Shamma in southern Lebanon.

Israel was subjected to rocket fire, AFP reported. The Lebanese group "Hezbollah" announced that it had fired dozens of rockets at Israel, quoted by News.bg.

"Hezbollah" explained that its strike was in response to Israel's attack on the city of Shamma in southern Lebanon.

The Ministry of Health reported that as a result of the strike, four Syrians were killed and five Lebanese citizens were injured. The death toll may rise.

The Israeli army reported on Telegram that numerous rockets were fired from Lebanese territory. Some of them were intercepted, and the rest fell in open areas. No injuries were reported.

The Israeli military announced that after the rocket attacks, they also hit the Hezbollah site from which the rockets were fired.

We remind you that "Hezbollah" supports the Palestinian group "Hamas" in Israel's war in the Gaza Strip.
