Ukraine's armed forces announced that during last night they struck Russia's Morozovsk airport, oil warehouses and other objects, reported Reuters and Ukrinform, quoted by BTA.
The attack on the airport also hit an ammunition depot where Moscow's forces stored guided aerial bombs and other equipment.
During the attacks on oil, fuel and lubricant warehouses in Belgorod, Kursk and Rostov regions, fires broke out in two oil tankers, Ukrainian forces added.
Russia announced that it shot down 76 Ukrainian drones last night and this morning, targeting oil bases in particular and causing fires. The largest number of them - 36, were "intercepted and destroyed" in the Rostov-on-Don region, where the headquarters of the Russian operation in Ukraine is located, said a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense, quoted by AFP.
