Russia has unveiled an unmanned aerial vehicle, describing it as a “Doomsday” , preparing for the worst scenarios, writes News.de.
However, experts clearly emphasize that Vladimir Putin will die if he dares to use nuclear weapons, and he is very well aware of the risks of this action.
Moscow presented a drone “for the end of the world”, which can serve “to monitor background radiation and ensure the security of personnel in case of nuclear attacks”. Not many details have been released about the weapon in question. The executive director of the Russian Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions, Dmitry Kuzyakin, told TASS that “it would be a crime not to prepare even for the worst-case scenarios”. This is another nuclear threat from Moscow.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his subordinates have repeatedly threatened to use nuclear weapons. The drone message from the “Doomsday” can be seen as another warning. According to a 2024 report, Russia has approximately 5,580 nuclear warheads and the United States has 5,044. A nuclear escalation would have fatal consequences.
John Isaacs, a senior fellow at the Center for Arms Control and Nonproliferation, explained the gravity of the situation in an interview with Newsweek.
Nuclear war would mean “ending most of life on earth – huge damage in your own country as well as in other countries”, explained the expert. “If Putin starts using nuclear weapons, he will die, and many people in Russia, many people in the United States or NATO will die – in other words, it is suicide for every country”, he said.
