For the past two months, the Ukrainian army has lost 115,000 soldiers, said the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu, quoted by the TASS agency. This data has not been independently verified.

Shoigu said that the Russian army is advancing on the front every day and “the window for settling the conflict for Ukraine is running out”.

„Every day delay in making such a decision leads to loss of control over another part of the territory that Ukrainians consider theirs, and most importantly – the loss of thousands of human lives," Shoigu stressed. According to him, the Russian army captured 420 square kilometers during that time.

In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin made new “peaceful” proposals for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, providing for recognition of the status of Crimea, DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as regions of Russia, as well as refusal to join NATO. In practice, these proposals of Moscow mean the capitulation of Ukraine if Volodymyr Zelensky accepts them.

„Russian troops continue to successfully achieve the goals of the special military operation set by the Supreme Commander (Putin)”, Shoigu said.

Against this background, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that by the end of the year it is achievable to achieve a “just peace” in the country, Ukrinform agency reported. “Our goal remains the same: to prepare a real basis for a just peace that will end the war this year. This is achievable, Zelensky pointed out.
