"One of the tasks (of the Russian forces - note ed.) is to cut off traffic on the road (Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka) or to take it under fire control. At the moment, the situation is under control," Muzichuk pointed out.

In his words, the efforts of Russian forces are aimed at taking control of this area as well, but the Ukrainian army has succeeded in achieving its tasks of thwarting this, as well as preventing Russian advances elsewhere.
