A state of emergency has been introduced in the Russian Kursk region, its regional governor Alexei Smirnov announced in "Telegram" , reported France Press, quoted by BTA.
Kursk region borders Ukraine and since yesterday there has been an entry of Ukrainian military there, the agency notes.
"The operational situation remains difficult in the border areas. In order to eliminate the consequences of the entry of enemy forces, I decided to declare a state of emergency," he wrote in "Telegram". Smirnov.
