If Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko enters in a war against Ukraine, his army will be defeated very quickly.

This was stated by the veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Major of the Reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexei Getman, in an interview with "Espresso" TV.

The Ukrainian military emphasized that in case of aggression by Belarus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will be able to attack enemy targets in Belarus without the need for additional permission, because Article 51 of the UN Charter provides this right for self-defense.

The expert noted that in the event of an attack, the Ukrainian military will retaliate and the army of Belarus will be defeated.

Lukashenko is one of the few world leaders who support Russian aggression against Ukraine. Vladimir Putin's vassal allowed Russian troops to enter Ukraine through the territory of Belarus in February 2022, when the federation launched an unprovoked full-scale war.

Military expert Alexey Getman pointed out that Lukashenko very well understands the risks of getting involved in the war directly, sending his servicemen against the ZSU. He realizes that Ukraine will immediately respond to the strike, and the Belarusian army will be defeated quickly, the military said.

According to experts, Lukashenko does not dare to start a war against Ukraine for another important reason – a military coup against him by his own army is possible. It is possible that a large part of his soldiers will turn against his regime because they would not want to attack Ukraine just because of the ambitions of a foreign leader in the person of Putin.

Yesterday it was reported that Belarus has started deploying tanks along its border with Ukraine. The information was released by the Belarusian Ministry of Defense amid reports that Belarus shot down several Ukrainian drones in its airspace. Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko ordered the reinforcement of troops in the southeastern part of the country, along the border with Ukraine, in the Gomel and Mozyr region, so that they can react to potential provocations from the neighboring country.
