Kyiv: We control 1,000 sq. km of Russian territory in the Kursk region

Ukrainian Army Commander-in-Chief Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrsky said Kyiv controls about 1,000 square kilometers of Russia's Kursk region, and this was his first comment on the surprise incursion across the border, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

President Volodymyr Zelensky published on his channel in "Telegram" video excerpt from Sirski's report. Zelensky stated that he ordered the preparation of a "humanitarian plan" for the area.
