Iran may strike Israel by day

Iran may launch an attack on Israel within the next 24 hours, Fox News reports, citing its sources.

Sources in the region have expressed fears that Iran and its allies may attack Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran late last month.

Earlier in the day, France, Germany and Great Britain issued a joint statement. They urged Iran and its allies to avoid actions that could lead to further escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
