Will Belarus enter the war against Ukraine? The order will come from China, not Russia

Political scientist Vadim Denisenko told Liga.net that it is not the Russian Federation that decides whether Belarus should join the full-scale war against Ukraine, but China.

Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, at the beginning of Vladimir Putin's full-scale aggression against Kiev, provided the territory of Belarus to the Russian army for the offensive. And although Belarus has so far not sent its troops, Minsk continues to be the closest European ally of the Putin regime.

Vadim Denisenko, however, believes that China has a much more important role than Moscow. "Permission to transfer or not to transfer (troops) will be given by Beijing," the political expert pointed out.

Ukraine does not notice any signs of the accumulation of additional Belarusian forces on its border, the spokesman of the Ukrainian border service Andriy Demchenko said yesterday, quoted by the “Reuters” agency. Belarus announced on Saturday that it was sending additional troops to the border area. “In recent days, we have not detected any movement or gathering of Belarusian forces, including various military units, equipment and manpower, along our border,” Demchenko said.
