Hope for peace in Ukraine! Narendra Modi's strategic visit to Kiev

India believes that no war ends on the battlefield, therefore its country supports diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible

During the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kiev, which began today, Ukraine and India will sign four documents, the press service of the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced before the start of the talks, quoted by Ukrinform, BTA writes.

"Today we agreed four documents between Ukraine and India during this historic visit of Prime Minister Modi. They are in the field of health care, cooperation in the field of agriculture, humanitarian relations and culture. A joint draft statement was prepared on the essence of the Prime Minister's visit for the development of strategic partnership, trade and military-technical cooperation between our countries. Everything must be strengthened," Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president emphasized that it is a great honor for Ukraine to receive the Prime Minister of friendly India on the National Flag Day. He also thanked Prime Minister Modi and the people of India for supporting the Ukrainians with 16 humanitarian aid packages.

Before his visit to Kiev, Modi visited Poland. India believes that no war ends on the battlefield, so its country supports diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible, Modi said there, adding that Delhi is ready to cooperate with other friendly countries to render the greatest possible support to the efforts to restore peace in the country.
