British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said today that shocked by, in his words, "the appalling and senseless" killing of six hostages in Gaza, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.

The Israeli army said it found the bodies of six hostages in a tunnel in southern Gaza, where they appeared to have been killed shortly before Israeli soldiers reached them.

"I am deeply shocked by the horrific and senseless killing of six hostages in Gaza by ``Hamas,'' Starmer wrote in a post on the social network X.

"Hamas" must release all hostages immediately and a cease-fire agreement between all parties must be agreed immediately to end the suffering, added the British prime minister.
