US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called today on Israel and the Palestinian movement "Hamas" to finalize the cease-fire agreement in the Gaza Strip and expressed the assessment that 90 percent of the deal has already been agreed, AFP reported, quoted by BTA.
„It's really up to both sides to reach an agreement on the remaining issues,”, Blinken said at a news conference in Haiti, where he arrived for the visit.
„If we succeed in achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, we will be able to move towards normalization” of the relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, he also said at a time when there are about four months left until the end of the mandate of American President Joe Biden.
