The sanctions imposed by US President Trump against the International Criminal Court (ICC) are "absolutely understandable", Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjarto wrote in a post on "Facebook", quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.

Szijjártó said the ICC had become a "biased political tool" and stressed that Hungary was also rethinking its relationship with the institution. The ICC condemned Trump's decision to impose sanctions on its officials, saying it was "extremely disappointed" with the US actions.
