US President Donald Trump said last night that he does not remember calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a "dictator", DPA reported, BTA reported.

When asked by a journalist during his joint press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer about the remark that Trump wrote on his social platform "Truth Social" this month, he said: "Did I say that? I can't believe I said that. Next question, please continue".

Trump stressed that he can "get along with both" - both with Zelensky and with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He added: "I have a very good relationship with President Putin. I think I have a very good relationship with President Zelensky".

To another journalistic question - whether there is a risk that Russian President Vladimir Putin will invade Ukraine again in the event that a peace agreement is concluded, Trump replied: "No, I don't think so".

"I am confident that if we make a deal, it will be kept", he added.

Regarding Putin, the American president also said: "I have known him for a long time and ... I don't believe that he will break his word. I... when we make a deal, I think the deal will now be honored".

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled to meet with Trump at the White House later today.
