Russia launched 208 drones against Ukraine last night, the Ukrainian air defense announced, DPA reported, BTA reported.
107 drones were shot down, and the location of another 97 was lost as a result of electronic warfare countermeasures, DPA reported, citing a message from the Ukrainian air defense on “Telegram“.
The regional governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Sinegubov, said that a massive attack was carried out against the region's energy network. Two people were injured and about 20 residential buildings were damaged.
In Sumy region, two people were injured in the attacks, according to local authorities, while four residential buildings, 10 houses and outbuildings were damaged.
In Zaporizhia region, one person was injured and several fires broke out in the Russian attacks. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian air defenses shot down 22 Ukrainian drones launched against Russian territory overnight.
