German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said today that it would be a serious mistake to lift sanctions against Russia now, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
"There is no point in lifting sanctions against Russia until peace is achieved (with Ukraine)", Scholz argued at the Ukraine summit in Paris. He expressed regret that achieving peace seemed a very distant prospect.
