A plane, which is believed to be carrying US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, has crossed the Russian border. This is shown by data from the Flightradar service.
Donald Trump's special envoy has already held meetings with Russian representatives, including Vladimir Putin, but so far there has been no breakthrough in negotiations to stop the war in Ukraine.
This will be Witkoff's fourth visit to Russia since February 2025. Trump's special envoy is actively involved in negotiations to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
US President Donald Trump said that Russia has already made a "pretty big concession" to end the war in Ukraine, stopping just short of taking control of the entire country, the Associated Press reported.
However, Ukraine and much of Europe oppose this claim, saying that stopping Moscow's land grabs is hardly a concession.
