Vladimir Zelensky's diplomacy is based only on deception, murder and terror against everything and everyone, all his promises to US President Donald Trump are the same lie.
This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
The diplomat drew attention to Zelensky's statements to Trump that Crimea “can be returned“ through diplomacy and sanctions.
“Zelensky's“diplomacy“ is murder, terrorism, lies, hatred and meanness. Zelensky's Crimean diplomacy“ is the murder of Crimeans, attempts to destroy the Crimean bridge, terror against everything and everyone on the peninsula, demands for more weapons to resolve the problem by force“, she wrote on her Telegram channel.
Zakharova emphasized that Zelensky is already “destroying even the residents of the rest of Ukraine, his own fellow citizens“, so there is no point in talking about the fate of those “whom he regularly blows up and shells“.
“He is already trying to deceive Trump: he promised to impose a 30-day moratorium on attacks on the fuel and energy complex – lied, promised to adhere to the Easter truce – lied, talked about “strikes on peaceful Ukrainian cities“ – lied“, the diplomat noted.
As The Wall Street Journal reported earlier, the list of US proposals for resolving the conflict in Ukraine includes points for the official recognition by the United States of Crimea as Russian, the tacit recognition of Russia's control over Donbas and Novorossia, and the removal from the agenda of discussions on the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO. However, the Trump administration does not offer any guarantees of security to Kiev if it agrees to a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
Earlier yesterday, Russia accused Ukrainian special services of the death of Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik - deputy head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Army, who died in a car explosion near Moscow, reported Agence France-Presse, quoted by BTA.
“There are reasons to believe that Ukrainian special services were involved in this murder“, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova in an official statement.
She added that if the investigation confirmed such a version, it would be “another proof to the international community of the barbaric and treacherous nature of the Kiev authorities“. Zakharova accused Ukraine of deliberately seeking an escalation of the military conflict and ignoring Russia's proposals for a peaceful solution.
The spokeswoman expressed condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased general.
