The Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, emphasized their combat and operational readiness to deal with hostile actions, the national news agency IRNA reported, quoted by BTA.
„In terms of combat capabilities and readiness, we are in our best shape. "Thank God, our armed forces are in the best situation in terms of intelligence gathering, operational planning and readiness to implement scenarios," Major General Bagheri said.
The senior military official added that all operational plans and conditions were verified during his current inspection at the Bandar Abbas naval base, and he is confident that the Iranian Armed Forces are in an optimal situation in terms of training and maneuvers and readiness for action.
“Our advice to the adversaries who sometimes make threats against the leadership is that they may provoke a conflict with the Islamic Republic based on misjudgment, but the end, manner, time, place and development of the battlefield will be beyond their control. It is the Islamic Republic of Iran that will determine them“, Major General Bakri stated.
“If our opponents make a mistake, or intend to act against the leadership and the sacred waters and land of the Islamic Republic, our armed forces have the ability and readiness to confront them“, the general concluded.
