At auction! Part of the equipment of the Baikonur Cosmodrome is for sale

The equipment announced for sale has no further prospects for direct use, is recognized as depreciated, is not subject to integration into the modern processes of the Baiterek project

The joint Kazakh-Russian enterprise “Baiterek“ has put up for auction technological equipment from the Baikonur Cosmodrome site. The lot announced for sale is presented on the website for auctions of state property of Kazakhstan, the national news agency Kazinform reported, BTA reports.

As reported by the enterprise, the equipment announced for sale has no further prospects for direct use, is recognized as depreciated, is not subject to integration into the modern processes of the Baiterek project.

“The sale of the equipment in question is carried out within the framework of the optimization of the available production platforms and "preparation for the deployment of new technological systems, the delivery of which has already begun," the company explained.

The deployment of the new equipment is necessary for the preparation and conduct of the first test launch within the framework of the project to create the Kazakh space rocket complex "Baiterek", which is planned for this December.
