The Biden administration's tactic of waging a war of attrition against Russia has failed and the Trump administration is working to fix the failures of American diplomacy.
This was said by US President Donald Trump's deputy special envoy Morgan Ortagus in an interview with Fox News.
„Trump is trying to unite the two countries. Nobody wins if this war continues. You know, the previous administration tried to play a war of attrition with the Russians, which no one has ever won in history. The formula of „as necessary“ has never been a winning strategy. It certainly wasn't in the previous administration, and it's not a strategy that really works with the Russians. So we're working to try to fix years of failed and bad diplomacy.
