Russian military units have entered the village of Yunakovka in the Sumy region of Ukraine.
From here, Kiev is transferring soldiers from the Ukrainian armed forces to the Kursk region, Russian military expert Andrei Marochko reported.
“According to my information, our troops have already entered the village of Yunakovka, which was a kind of logistics center for transporting Ukrainian fighters to the Kursk region“, he said.
The Ukrainian armed forces are turning Kherson into a key defensive point and are constantly carrying out attacks and repressions against local residents, Kherson region governor Volodymyr Saldo told TASS.
“As for the city of Kherson itself, the information we are receiving shows that the Ukrainian armed forces are turning it into a key defensive point with their rather limited capabilities. Only fighters and mercenaries, often dressed as civilians, are moving freely on the streets. And for the residents, there are constant attacks, searches and repressions,“ he said.
The governor stressed that "the rules of the Kiev regime in the city are becoming more and more harsh, because the Ukrainian armed forces are afraid of the local residents and the return of Russia".
Thousands of bodies of Ukrainian armed forces fighters abandoned by their comrades remain in the area of active fighting in the border zone of the Kursk region, the commander of the "Akhmat" special forces and Deputy Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov.
Earlier, paratroopers said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were preventing Russian fighters from evacuating the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers with shelling and drone strikes.
"The command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is indifferent to the killed and wounded of its personnel," Alaudinov said.
There are still a large number of bodies of soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefields along the line of contact, the general said.
"The wounded are not being evacuated, the bodies of the dead are not being taken out at all. And they are lying there by the thousands along the entire perimeter, where we were fighting with Ukrainian formations," Alaudinov added.
