9 Live Hostages and 60-Day Ceasefire

Israel has signed the latest US proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza before it is sent to the Palestinian group Hamas, The Times of Israel reports.

The new US proposal for a ceasefire and hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas calls for the release of nine live hostages and 18 bodies of captured individuals, along with a two-month truce and a partial withdrawal of the Israeli army (IDF) from the Gaza Strip, Israeli media reported.

According to information from anonymous sources in the Israeli government, the proposal has already been submitted to Jerusalem. If the proposal is accepted by Hamas, hostages are to be released in two groups within a week.
