Ukrainian military aircraft will be able to use NATO's communication and control systems, the so-called NATO military Wi-Fi network. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernogorenko.

“I have signed a license agreement for the use of NATO's non-commercial software - the Control and Warning Center System Interface (CRC System Interface, CSI)“, she wrote on Facebook (banned in Russia; owned by the Meta corporation, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation). - The software is an element of the combat control system using the Link-16 data transmission protocol - “military Wi-Fi“ of NATO, which provides aircraft control (F-16, Mirage 2000), integrated air and missile defense systems (Patriot).

According to her, CSI is used by most NATO countries, “so its implementation will ensure full interoperability with partners“.

On May 26, the Dutch Ministry of Defense announced that it had sent the last of the promised 24 F-16 fighters to Ukraine. In February, French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced the transfer of several Mirage 2000 fighters to Kiev. He did not specify how many fighters Paris plans to deliver, but according to media reports, it could be no more than six aircraft.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said earlier that foreign fighters would not be a panacea capable of influencing the course of military operations and "will be consistently destroyed by the Russian armed forces."
