Nationalist oppositionist Nawrocki wins Polish presidential election

Opposition Law and Justice candidate receives 50.9% of votes with 100% of ballots counted

The candidate of the opposition Law and Justice party Karol Nawrocki has won the Polish presidential election after 100% of ballots were counted by the State Electoral Commission of the Republic.

According to these figures, published by TVP Info, Nawrocki received 50.9% of the votes, while the candidate of the ruling Civic Coalition Rafal Trzaskowski received 49.1%

After the end of the election day, both presidential candidates declared victory.

The State Electoral Commission is due to announce the final results today.
