Viktor Orban: Brussels bureaucrats do not support Trump's peace plans, they decided that the war should continue

A decision was made in Brussels for Ukraine to continue the war, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said, MTI reports.

"The situation is clear: unfortunately, despite the efforts of US President Donald Trump, we are not withdrawing from the war, but are deepening it even further. Brussels bureaucrats do not support US peace plans. They decided that Ukraine should continue the war" Orban stated.

"Hungary, on the contrary, supports the US efforts to establish peace", he pointed out.

Orban added that "Budapest must be prepared for the fact that the Brussels leadership, interested in continuing the war, will do everything to force Hungary to join the pro-war European coalition".

He also stated that it is necessary to prepare for the intensification of the work of the special services against Hungary and the intensification of defamatory campaigns financed from abroad.
