American President Donald Trump said today that he had not sought out Iran for peace talks in any way or form, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Iran "should have accepted the agreement that was on the table", Trump wrote on his social network "Truth Social".
"If Tehran wants to negotiate, they know how to find me", he added.
The American president also said that he wants a "real end" of the conflict between Iran and Israel, not just a ceasefire.
We need an "end, a real end, not a ceasefire", Trump told reporters on the plane he was flying back to Washington from the G-7 summit in Canada.
A White House meeting will be held later today on the conflict between Israel and Iran.
